As humanity ventures beyond our home planet, understanding human health in space becomes paramount. This abstract focuses on the differences between astronautic exploration missions and civilian space settlements, considering various aspects: resource availability, infrastructure, biomes, social dynamics, and even legal aspects. We delve into the challenges faced by astronauts during exploration missions and the unique considerations for long-term habitation in space settlements. From managing limited resources to prioritizing physical and mental well-being, this presentation sheds light on the intricate interplay between human biology, technology, and social cohesion. Understanding this interplay is crucial for ensuring the success of future space missions.
