The International space station program is a humanity’s achievement from many different perspectives. 15 nations are united together to design, construct and operate the in-orbit technical and scientific facility with permanent human presence for 25 years (38 years taking into account previous orbital station – MIR). Now we’re at the stage when we’re aiming to keep our LEO capabilities and at the same time to make a next step – to establish peaceful research and exploration of the Moon and Cis-Lunar space. The subject of the lecture is to highlight the perspectives of Lunar exploration as an international endeavor and to show how technical and programmatic principles of the ISS program will help to provide necessary sustainability of the International Lunar program.
