The Space Renaissance Academy Mentorship Programme

The Space Renaissance Academy kicked-off a very ambitious initiative: to build the greatest planetary mentorship programme.

The programme is made by two main parts:

• Students have the possibility to choose their favorite themes for graduation theses or Ph.D works.
• Mentors have the possibility to choose their favorite disciplines, on which they like to provide mentorship to students.

The SR Academy will take care of creating the link among students and mentors, for the different themes / disciplines.

We will also contact Universities, in order to coordinate this beautiful effort.

Why did Space Renaissance engage in this adventure?

First: the focus. If you will check our proposed themes and disciplines, you will see that they are not generic themes related to space. All of our proposals are related to our main mission: to support and favor the expansion of civilization into the outer space. We analyzed that some key scientific and technological research strands do not have the proper priority. Our initiative aims to raise awareness on such topics, in the academic world and among the students, encouraging them to engage in the greatest work of all times: making humanity a space faring civilization.

Not a second, but another first rationale: to help the young generations to choose their place in the world and their road to the stars.

Another priority aim: to increase the visibility and possibility to help of many space supporters endowed by educational capabilities. They are bearer of great concepts, and can be key to inject enthusiasm and hope in many young students, helping them to come up from the futureless  situation of the closed world.

Last, but not least: not only science! We also want to work with philosophy, literature, art and the humanistic disciplines. The first obstacle to civilian space development is not scientific nor technological nor economic: it is philosophic!

All of the culture branches will concur to overcome the obstacles, so we call all of the students and teachers of all disciplines to join the Space Renaissance Academy Mentorship Programme! To join, it is enough to go through one or both these questionnaires:

• Students: choose your favorite themes for graduation theses or Ph.D works.
• Mentors choose your favorite disciplines, on which you like to provide mentorship to students.

And, of course, join the Space Renaissance! Joining as a members you will have the privilege to participate in the SRI works, and to have access to all of the SRI reserved contents and benefits!
